Prescott Valley Child of the Week: Liam

Liam_webYour friendship can truly change a child’s life! Thousands of current and previous matches have seen the power of 8 hours, but our waiting children have yet to experience this sense of hope!

Meet Liam, an outgoing 13 year old boy who needs a Big Brother to let him know that he is important. Liam lives with his mother and younger sister. Liam does not have a positive relationship with his father. Spending a mere 8 hours a month with a Big Brother could truly lead Liam down a successful path in life.

Liam is well-spoken and intelligent. He is easy to have a conversation with and loves astronomy. Science is his favorite subject in school and he aspires to be an Astronomer when he grows up. Liam enjoys a variety of indoor activities. These activities include reading, cooking, playing board games, going to the movies, and museums.  Liam would like to try many outdoor activities with his future Big Brother, such as playing golf, hockey, going fishing and hiking.

There are over 100 children in the Quad-City area in need of Big Brother, Big Sister, Big Couple, or Big Family. Do you have 8 hours a month, and an extra seatbelt in the car? If so, please call 778.5135, visit our website at azbigs.org, or ‘Like’ us on Facebook.
