Prescott Child of the Week: J.J.

JJ-webA child’s future can be changed by one significant adult. Become a mentor, because 8 hours a month to a child can truly promote a better and brighter future.

Meet J.J., an 11 year old boy who considers his family to be the most important thing in his life. J.J. lives with his single mother. Sadly, J.J. lost his father several years ago.  J.J. needs a positive male role model who can encourage him through the toughest of teenage years.

J.J. has a wide interest in activities and he likes to try new things. Some of J.J.’s interests are robotics, engineering, drawing, playing video games, and being outdoors. One of the things he would like to learn is how to cook. J.J. also enjoys building and fixing things.  Much like a typical 11 year old J.J. sees open possibilities for himself. He states he would like to be business owner, game designer, blacksmith, gun smith, or author when he grows up. J.J. is excited to have a Big Brother that can help him explore his many interests. Are you that Big Brother?
