Child of the Week: Dylan

Dylan-Taylor-webWhen a Big is present in a child’s life, new opportunities can open up! Be a friend to a child in need, and support that child Fundamentally. For the Better. Forever!

Meet Dylan, a 7 year old boy who enjoys shooting airsoft guns and collecting rocks. Dylan lives very far away from his father and doesn’t get to spend consistent time with him. Dylan is also shy, so 8 hours a month with an outdoorsy Big Brother could make the biggest difference in his life.

Dylan is a kind child with a big heart. His interests include hiking, camping, and playing soccer. Dylan’s mother describes Dylan as an “old soul” who is great at understanding things far beyond his years. He also enjoys playing baseball, gardening, swimming, riding ATV’s, and doing arts and crafts projects.

The values you instill as a mentor go far beyond the time spent with your Little. These values can be developed through activities such as taking a kid fishing, going to the movies, or just simply playing catch. In the Prescott Valley area, Big Brothers, Big Couples, and Big Families are in high demand! Giving 8 hours a month could make the biggest difference in Dylan’s life.
