Looking to hire a Match Advisor. Full time position. Spanish-speaking required. College degree. Under moderate supervision the Match Advisor will maintain contact with the child, parent and Big on a regular ongoing basis per standards set by our National Office to ensure child safety, match compatibility and success. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field. The candidate will possess excellent organizational ability, proven communication skills, empathy, and a genuine concern for the well being of the mentored children. The candidate will demonstrate above average computer skills and be willing to enter all contacts with stakeholders into a database using objective observation to assess the strengths and weaknesses of a mentoring relationship. The Match Advisor will also participate in fund raising activities throughout the year. The candidate should have experience working with volunteers and children and be well versed in finding solutions to moderate to difficult emotional issues. The position will report to our Prescott, AZ office but also be required to travel to family homes for interviews and enrollment of children.
