Baxter to attend youth mentoring summer institute

Lynn Baxter, Program Director for Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters, was accepted for the 2017 Summer Institute on Youth Mentoring at Portland State University in Oregon.
Only 25 participants are allowed in the intensive four-day seminar, presenting the latest developments in theory and research on youth mentoring. Each session is led by a prominent scholar and focuses on analyzing recent research findings and practice trends in youth mentoring.
Baxter has been with YBBBS for nearly 12 years and is honored to be chosen for this program, “I hope to bring back innovative ideas for Program enhancements, ensuring YBBBS remains a leader in the field of mentoring and continues to positively impact our youth through the most up-to-date, evidence-based practices.”
