Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters works to provide mentors to area youth facing adversity. Children need to be surrounded by adults who encourage self-discovery, model healthy behaviors, and encourage and inspire kids to become confident adults.
Meet Lilly, an active and adventurous 12 year old girl. Lilly currently lives with her father, younger sister, and grandparents. Lilly needs an active Big Sister who enjoys sports and being outdoors. Lilly describes herself as a tomboy and likes to be outside playing. She is a good big sister and often plays with her sister at home.
Lilly does well in school. She states she knows she needs to make good grades. Lilly would like to be a veterinarian when she grows up. She states PE is her favorite class this year. Lilly needs a positive female role model who will encourage her dreams.
