Child of the Week: Jackie

Meet , a 13-year-old girl who is shy when she is first meeting a new person. Jackie lives with her single mother and three siblings. Jackie’s father is not involved with the family. Jackie loves to bake and wants to be a baker when she grows up. Jackie also enjoys playing outside, watching movies, and enjoys music. She is in the school choir. Jackie is more comfortable in smaller groups and is in need of individual attention.

Jackie does have some struggles in school, specifically math. She states social studies and science are her favorite classes. Jackie needs a Big Sister who can help her build her self-confidence, get her out of the house, and have fun. Jackie would like her future Big Sister to know that she is crafty and musical.
