Prescott Child of the Week: Kaden

Kaden_webTime is valuable, but it can be priceless when a little of that time is spent mentoring a child. Luckily, giving the smallest portion of your time towards a child can make an everlasting impact.

Meet Kaden, a talkative 10year old who lives with his mother. Sadly, Kaden’s father passed away several years ago and this loss has been difficult. Kaden is a typical 10 year old in that he can be well mannered and polite or impulsive and direct in his communication. He needs a Big Brother who can give him the boundaries he needs to succeed in life.

Kaden does have some struggles in school with focusing on his work. He enjoys being active both indoors and outdoors. Kaden enjoys playing chess, watching football, and shooting pool. He also enjoys riding his bike, climbing rocks, kayaking, archery and target shooting. Kaden needs an active Big Brother who will take his time developing a friendship.

All it takes is 8 hours a month to make a massive difference on a child’s life. The impact you make on a child as a Big often times transfers over into their adult lives. Watching a child evolve into a caring and successful adult and helping others can be the ultimate reward.
