Prescott Child of the Week: Kaidon

Kaidon-L-webThe future of our world lies in young hands. Become a mentor, because 8 hours a month to a child in need can truly promote a better and brighter future.

Meet Kaidon, a 13 year old boy who loves the rain and considers his family to be the most important thing in his life. Kaidon, whose mother works a full time job, has experienced devastating loss at an early age. For these reasons, Kaidon needs a positive male role model who can encourage him through the toughest of teenage years.

Kaidon enjoys playing laser tag, shooting hoops, riding bikes, watching movies, and playing the guitar. He loves the outdoors and is open to trying new things. Kaidon wants to help out others by becoming a doctor, therapist, or police officer when he grows up.

Children in Yavapai County who are facing adversity need positive role models to lean on for support. Setting a positive example for our youth can ultimately lead to better society.
