Child of the Week: Hope

Hope-webWith 8 hours a month and an extra seatbelt in your car, you can help a child flourish. Hope can be found through the positive mentorship of a Big.

Meet Hope, a 15 year old girl who wants to improve the lives of Autistic children when she grows up. A child with a big heart, Hope needs a Big Sister to give her the confidence to thrive in social situations. She is very intelligent, and enjoys going to the pet store, doing gymnastics, hanging out at the park, going to the lake, and baking.

Hope has a very unique set of interests. An admirer of fashion and pop culture, she also enjoys playing the guitar, drawing, and decorating. Hope is planning on learning ballet to improve her gymnastics skills. She also would like to become a volunteer at a local school.

Taking a child to the lake, baking, or hanging out at the park are fun activities that promote a healthy future. There are over 200 at-risk children in Yavapai County who need someone to have fun with and feel important.
