“AZ Big Brother of the Year”

Jerry and his Little Brother, Spencer, have been matched for over four years. Spencer is being raised by his grandmother who has many health problems that make it difficult for her to care for him. Spencer’s grandmother has said of their match, “When Jerry came  into Spencer’s life it was like a miracle.”

Since the match began, Spencer has moved eight times and through all of this, Jerry never missed an outing and made sure that Spencer always got to school. When asked about his match, Spencer said, “Jerry has always been there for me and I’m never going to disappoint him by messing up.” Some of the things they enjoy doing together are going hiking, boating, golfing and camping.
