One of the major challenges facing teachers today is how to best meet the needs of diverse learners. We know teachers want to provide all students with an excellent education.

We know that your classrooms are full. And we understand that along with full classrooms comes the challenge of giving each student that one-to-one attention that is critical to their success.

That’s why at Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters we have made it easy for you as a teacher to refer a child to our program.

Our Impact

Research tells us that compared with all other youth their age, boys and girls matched with a Big Brother, Big Sister or Family Match are 40% less likely to get arrested.

In addition, compared to their peers, matched youth are:

• 46% Less likely to start using drugs
• 27% less likely go start drinking
• 52% less likely to skip a day of school
